However, patients often experience a series of related symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, and flank pain after surgery, which are referred to as postcholecystectomy syndrome (PCS). The treatment of PCS with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has been reported in numerous documents and has shown clear therapeutic effects. This study reviews the syndrome differentiation and treatment of PCS in TCM through a comprehensive analysis of relevant literature, hoping to provide a reference for clinical practice.
