This study developed a novel gradient-degradable antibacterial composite scaffold (CA@PLA/Col/CSH) for bone tissue engineering. The scaffold integrates the mechanical strength of polylactic acid (PLA), the biocompatibility of collagen (Col), the osteoinductivity of calcium sulfate hemihydrate (CSH), and the antibacterial property of cinnamaldehyde (CA). Through the precise design of structural units across multiple scales (from nanometer to macroscale), this scaffold provides a solution for bone defect repair that combines mechanical support, antibacterial activity, and coordinated degradation.
